Hostels
The National Sugar Institute has five hostels including one girls’ hostel named as -
- R.C. Srivastava Hostel
- S.C. Roy Hostel
- J.M.Saha Hostel
- S.C. Gupta Hostel
- S.N. Gundu Rao Hostel (for girls)
- S.L. Saxena Hostel


Infrastructure
These hostels can accomodate more than 400 students. Each hostel has its own common/TV room, mess and dining hall. The hostels are surrounded by lawns and the area is full of greenery and pollution free. There is a special technical library for students in R.C. Srivastava hostel. Each hostel has its own computer room with internet facility.

Sports facilities
There is a common indoor stadium having facilities for the following -
- Table tennis
- Carom boards
- Chess
- Gym (with all modern equipment’s)
There is a common basket ball court and separate volleyball court for each hostel. Apart from this there is a play ground for outdoor games.

Mess/Dining Hall
Each hostel has its own hygienic mess & dining hall with RO water facility. The messes are run by students’ committee under the supervision of the Hostel Warden.
Maintenance-:The maintenance, civil or electrical, of Hostel s is done by CPWD. There is a dedicated Sewage Treatment Plant for Hostels under which is also maintained by CPWD.
Staff (Boy's & Girls Hostel)
The general administration of Boys’ Hostel is looked after by hostel staff headed by Hostel Warden.
